Manuka Bay Lodge is not yet fully complete, however we are able to offer accommodation in exchange for helping out on our organic farm. We have an established fruit orchard, Olive trees and a good sized vegetable garden. We have a small herd of belted Galloway cattle.

How it works in New Zealand

WWOOF Volunteers

Live with families and get hands-on experience with organic practices including cooking and preserving, wine, and bread making, companion planting, composting, cattle farming and fishing. Volunteers like "giving something back to the country I am volunteering in ".

Manuka Bay Lodge WWOOF Hosts

We are organic farmers and enjoy passing on our knowledge of sustainable and organic practices. Organic production is also labour intensive and hosts appreciate having a helping hand in the vegetable garden and other farm activities. Hosts like the "world coming to me" by opening up their homes and sharing their organic lifestyle with others.

The property has a private accommodation chalet in a forest setting with sea views a short walk from the main house. If you are interested please email us to discuss accommodation options.
